About Me

Margarita Sandoval

I am bilingual and bicultural Licensed Professional Counselor; I provide services of psychotherapy through telehealth to adolescent and young adults in all the state of Oregon. I am a certified TF-CBT therapist.

I employ an array of modalities to address difficulties due to trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Soy una Consejera Clinica Profesional bilingue y bicutltural. Proveo servicios de psicoterapia virtual para adolesentes y jovenes que residen en el estado de Oregon. Tengo una certificacion en terapia cognitivo- conductual con enfoque en trauma. (TF-CBT por sus siglas in Ingles)
Utlizo una varidad de modalidades para tratar dificultades emocionales relacionadas con depression y ansiedad.

Experience and Education

I graduated in 2021 from Notre Dame De Namur University with a Masters Degree in Clinical Pscyhology. My focus of study was on generational and immigrational trauma. I provide individual and family therapy to adolescent and young adults, I enjoy working with groups and direct services to community agencies.

I have experience working with families in school settings. I worked as part of the administration department at two different elementary schools, I provided bilingual services for 18 years to families, students, and staff. I also worked for AmeriCorps and provided tutoring at a public library to children, resources to families, and participated in fundraising events in the community. I also worked as a family engagement specialist at an Elementary schools. During my last year of graduate school, I worked as an instructional assistant at a children’s hospital school; working with children who suffered from major medical needs.

Whenever I am not working, I like to spend time cooking for my family and friends, I enjoy reading and learning from collegues about new treatment aproches. I consider myself a life long learner.
